Following a 33+ year career in public safety, Dan Perenick owns and oversees Heart Start CPR & First Aid based out of Woburn, Massachusetts.
He was both an instructor with the American Heart Association (AHA) and a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) during his career.
Dan continues his commitment to life safety education as the lead AHA instructor at Heart Start.
Olivia Perenick is a 2022 graduate of the University of Massachusetts and has been a certified AHA instructor for four years. She serves as a secondary instructor at Heart Start.
While studying in Amherst, she majored in kinesiology. Beginning in the fall of 2023, Olivia returned to the classroom to work towards her Master of Science in Nutrition at Simmons University in Boston.
Heart Start CPR & First Aid is a small family-owned business that travels to and trains employees of dental/medical offices, schools, daycare centers, houses of worship, industry, restaurants, families, and public safety personal in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated/Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), Foreign Body Airway Obstruction maneuver, and Professional/Pediatric First Aid.
Our class curriculum conforms to all AHA guidelines.
